LAAPA's Theatre Department is pleased to present our 2025 Winter Musical, "Mary Poppins JR." this coming January under the direction of Rachel Theriot and Kilian Afzalirad!
Mary Poppins JR. is a delightful stage adaptation of the classic Disney film and P.L. Travers' stories. The musical follows the magical nanny, Mary Poppins, as she transforms the lives of the Banks family in London, teaching them valuable lessons through whimsical adventures and unforgettable songs. This junior version retains the charm and spirit of the original, making it perfect for younger performers and audiences.
This musical production will hold all rehearsals at our River Ridge Campus, and the performances will be held in Westwego at the Westwego Performing Arts Theater.
