LAAPA's Theatre Department is pleased to present our 2024 Summer Musical, "Into the Woods" this August under the direction of Mrs. Rebecca Posey (Music Director), and Nicoli Hutchison (Acting Director)!
Escape into a fantastical fairytale adventure where wishes come true but not free. A trove of storybook characters’ paths intertwine as they chase their deepest desires through an enchanted forest. However, once they receive their happily ever after, the unintended consequences of granted wishes unravel their worlds. James Lapine’s book about wishes, familial ties, and loss, coupled with Stephen Sondheim’s clever and moving score, make for a thought-provoking and moving visit to the theatre.
This musical production will hold all rehearsals at our Mandeville Campus, and the performances will be held in Covington at the Fuhrmann Auditorium.
