Madisonville

With less than 800 residents, Madisonville is part of the New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner MSA. The town is situated on the banks of the Tchefuncte River and the Pontchartrain Lake. The town was a major port before the Civil War, supplying bricks to the city of New Orleans.
