Faculty

At LAAPA, our primary goal is to provide students of all ages with only the finest in arts education. It is for this reason that all instructors on staff are university trained professionals in their respective areas of expertise.

Music faculty members hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Music Degree. Many hold or are currently working towards either Master of Music or Doctor of Musical Arts degrees.

Dance faculty members hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance, Dance Master's Certification, or comparable professional experience.

All instructors at LAAPA are carefully screened for their ability to relate to and provide instruction to students of various ages and backgrounds in a manner that is fun and enjoyable. Lessons are always individually tailored to the styles, needs, and goals of the student.

Our faculty members come to us from some of the finest Universities around the world including the Berklee College of Music, Florida State University, Loyola University of New Orleans, New England Conservatory, Oberlin Conservatory, Ohio State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Tulane University, University of Denver, University of Miami, University of New Orleans, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
